They have also been awarded Best Burger from Laguna Beach Patch.

MARIANO MOLTENI, OWNER AND DEBRA SIMS, CHEF

MARIANO "Maro" MOLTENI grew up in Argentina, surrounded with a rustic lifestyle that taught him great ingredients come from dedicated farmers, ranchers, and artisans. He has a degree in Hotel Management from Argentina, which allowed him to work at fine hotels all over the world. After working in New York for several years, Maro decided to follow food, his true life's passion. Maro Wood Grill was born.

DEBRA SIMS hails from Western Colorado, where she grew up with fresh ingredients foraged daily on walks, hikes, and bike rides in the Ucompahgre Valley. These habits would instill the foundation for her passion for sustainable fresh food.

When Maro and Chef Sims met, they knew instantly that they had the same goal: to provide organic, responsible, sustainable cuisine at its finest to Orange County locals and tourists alike. Combine that with Chef Sims' talent for wood-fired grilling and you have a one-of-a-kind dining experience at Maro Wood Grill.
